On April 16,2007 I started this BLOG.

I made the following statements introducing this blog and stated my intentions as follows.

This blog is about the Rio Ojo Caliente River located in New Mexico. The blog's intention is to inform, educate and motivate land owners to take an active role in protecting and managing the Rio Ojo Caliente with regards to the river itself, wildlife habitat and the rivers impact on private lands. Please participate in our community. This Blog Is Posted by Huli20 -2007- A local Rio Ojo resident. This BLOG IS UPDATED DAILY and is an OPEN COMMUNITY BLOG. Please feel free to leave comments.

Now 20+ days later...
I have researched hundreds and hundreds of pages of information concerning our community. History, Geography, Hydrology, Mapping, Land Use, and much more. I've posted only a small of what I have found so far here in this BLOG. I have many more links and information I am looking into and for, and as I find more information I will share. I hope other in our community will also contribute.

I began this process because two of my neighbors properties were flooding and have lost land to high flows. My intention was at the time to try to find a solution for my neighbors, ourselves and finally as I realized others upstream were also effected or at risk so my concerns extended to my community.

Then I find "Global Warming and the State of New Mexico"

These are the dates many are using as "DEADLINES" not "GOALS" because the consequences of failing push the envelope on the scale towards higher consequences for all species on earth.

So how do I bring this back to our river and my neighbors, and my community in a way that we can all understand and more importantly immediately act upon these critical issues?


How can I impress upon my neighbors, my community, my state, our nation, and all nations as other are now doing how critical this issue is.

Simple! Our Children and our future generations are at not moderate risks. All living species are at considerable risk. (BEES)

I feel I need to rewrite the Intentions of the blog. How do I begin? I really do need your help. This is one we all must write. Our Intentions.
